Rebels suffered from many things, but the episode where Rex gets ptsd with the faux-seppie battle was poignant regardless.
It certainly made my heart ache a bit for rex realizing that him and his brothers were just as much like droids as the actual robots they fought. I disliked how it had to be Ezra to point out nobody won the war, but it does complete the cycle in a way.
Not like its the 1st time film/storytelling has done this, but i still think it was a fantastic way of demonstrating parralells to our reality. Nobody truely wins a war, and the true people that suffer are the innocents and the 'drones' we send to fight.

The last 4 episodes made me really feel just how evil The Senate is. Moreso than anything else imo.
Truly evil, Palpatine's plan was.
His plan from the start, it was.
All the clones that we saw die during the Clone Wars, all the ones that died fighting for the Republic and it's people, they were the lucky ones.
