I once wrote a script to put in these suffixes, so I had to figure this out formally. It’s always “th”, unless the last digit is 1, 2, or 3 (in which case it’s “st”, “nd”, or “rd”, respectively), unless unless the second to last digit is “1”, in which case it’s “th” again.
